Desiree and Jacob

My best friend Desiree is getting married in March and I took a few pictures of her and her fiance for their engagement when they came to visit. They are so cute; I had to share them with you.

Trip Amended

So we've been talking about our trip some more. We've decided to go to Dublin first then down to London and Paris. Both of us have always wanted to go to Ireland and since we'll already be over there, it seems like the perfect time to go.

We are planning for next year in March. It is sort of the off season so it won't be as expensive - maybe just a little cold. We are going to save everything we can and I am so excited!

I've decided!

I've decided I want to take a trip. And not just any trip, I want to go to Europe! First we will fly out of Phoenix and go to London, England:

We can see all the sites, have tea and crumpets with the Queen and stay in a hostel -- Or with my friend Rita's sister that lives there.

Next, we'll catch a train and go to Paris:

We'll go up the Eiffel Tower, go to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Versilles - see it all!

And then for the ride home we'll stop in New York City:

We'll try and catch the cash cab, go up the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, it will be FANTASTIC!

Who knows if this trip will happen, but I will work my hardest to make sure it does. I've always wanted to travel and if we don't do it soon, it will never happen. Wish us luck!!

All back home

We had a very snowy trip. Mostly all day Saturday and the ride home on Sunday was all white. We decided to rent a car so we could still go and as you can see, it blends right in with the snow.

The first day we were there we went to Golden Corral to eat. On our way out we jumped for the camera. Nat and Lings picture was a lot better then mine and Tommy's because Tommy wasn't in the mood to jump apparently.

Here we are riding around in the car and around town. Nat and Ling are so cool!

On Saturday night Tommy and I went to dinner with some old friends of mine. From left to right: Me, Tanya, William, Kristy, Geoff, and Tommy.
It was really fun to see them again.

This is Auralee and Taryn before church on Sunday. They are so cute, I just love them!

This is all on our way home. It snowed all the way from Bloomfield to Flagstaff. Tommy had never driven in snow before so it was quite scary. There was ice caked on to the side of our car. As pretty as it was, I wouldn't recommend it.

Trip back home

Last weekend we headed out for a trip to New Mexico. About an hour and a half out of Phoenix, our car broke down. We had to wait for Tommy's uncle to come and get us so we deicided to take a few pictures of us on the side of the road. As you can tell, we were pretty bummed out.

New Christmas Pajamas!

My awesome co-workers all pitched in and got me a gift card this year. I bought these really warm pjs and Tommy took this picture of me in the stairwell. He thinks they're cute too ;)

For Christmas we went over to Tommy's parents house. It was super fun. My mother-in-law made me the really cute apron seen below. We spent the day hanging out with them and having a good time. Overall, a very awesome day.

Botanical Gardens

I'm catching up with all of last months happenings. So I'm starting with our trip to the botanical gardens in Phoenix. A friend of my sister-in-law Charlotte had some extra tickets so we went and took lots of pictures. It was so cold but the glass sculpture things were really cool. We had a pretty fun time.

Santa was also there playing a guitar and singing old cowboy songs. He was a funny old man and it was fun to sing along.
