My sweet boy and his bow tie.

Cameron looked so adorable last Sunday, I just had to do a little photo shoot with him.
He's just growing so fast, I can't even believe it sometimes.
How we love him so!

Cameron's 2nd Birthday!

For Cameron's 2nd birthday, we had a mustache party!
It was so much fun!
Thanks to my silhouette, I was able to cut out many mustaches without a lot of work, which I really appreciated.

I can't believe my boy is two. He amazes us everyday with how fast he learns and how observant he is.
He is a sweet boy who loves hugs and kisses and even though we have our rough moments, we still love every minute with him.
He is doing great with both Spanish and English as well as Sign Language.
We use sign as a base language between the two languages so he knows that the words mean the same thing. It's working really well for us so that now when I ask him in English what a word is in Spanish he can tell me. Not all words, obviously, but a lot.
We are so impressed with how well he is picking it up.

Enjoy the pictures of his special day!

Fall in Boise

The thing I miss most about my hometown is the seasons.
We don't get a lot of them here in Phoenix.
I recently had a trip up to Boise for the blessing of my sweet new nephew and I had to get some photos of the awesome changing leaves.
Aren't they beautiful!?

Cameron at 1 year

Do not judge me for just getting these pictures taken.
Technically, he's still one.
When I look back, I probably won't even remember what age he was anyway just that the pictures show how much he has grown!

This little boy is so full of personality!

I plan on continuing into his second year also and maybe like up to five or ten if I'm really feeling it. Pretty soon, he wont fit on this blanket....

Biscuits

My sister-in-law Candace recently shared with me a recipe for some amazing biscuits. Like so amazing, you should stop whatever you are doing and make them right now!

The recipe is from Paula Dean. You can find the Original HERE.

Candace calls them "Sister Wife Biscuits" because Paula is her wanna-be sister wife. haha

“Sister Wife Biscuits” (Cream Biscuits)

2 cups self-rising flour, plus more for dusting
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

Preheat oven to 500 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, and cream until the dough forms a ball. Turn the dough out onto a surface dusted with additional flour. Fold the dough in 1/2 and knead 5 to 7 times, adding just enough flour to keep dough from sticking to your hands. Gently roll out dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Using a 3-inch biscuit cutter coated with flour, cut dough into biscuits.* Place on baking sheet coated with cooking spray, leaving at least 1-inch between each biscuit. Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.

*TIP
When rolling out your dough, roll it thin, like 1/4-inch. Then fold it in half and roll again lightly. Cut and bake. When your biscuits are done, they pull apart perfectly with no cutting or crumbling.

Cameroni in a corn field.

I can't believe my baby boy is almost two!!
It boggles my mind everyday. How can he be getting so big??
He continues to amaze us with how much he can do and figure out all on his own.
I'm thinking he'll be a rocket scientist, or engineer, or president, or time machine builder.
You know, any of those would do.
