Happy Baby Shower!

Thank you everyone who came to my friends and family baby shower!
I had a wonderful time.
The food was fabulous,
I wish I would have taken pictures of the spread but it was
surprisingly difficult to take pictures at your own shower.
Thanks to my friend Ashley, I got a few of me opening presents.

Birthday Cake!

For Tommy's birthday, I made a cake from a recipe I found a while back on Make It and Love It.

It's called "almost too much chocolate cake."

It was fabulous! And really not that hard to make.

Most of all, Tommy loved it and that was enough for me!

The Aftermath:

Day 8: Bath

This was the last stop on our day tour for day 8.

Bath was amazing. 

The structure of the whole city was beautiful.

There were people playing music in the squares and rows of local shops lining cobblestone streets.

We visited the Roman Baths, which are excavated structures built around a natural spring.

It was wonderful and so full of history.

The city is also known as the city of pigs because of a story involving some pigs and a prince with leprosy.

Cradle Baby

We are loving this cradle we bought for baby Cameron.

We got it this weekend and put it together.

It fits perfectly next to our bed for easy access to baby in the night. 

Can't wait to put him in it!

8 weeks left!

Nursery Progress!

The nursery is coming along great!

We picked up a few things to go along with our awesome bedding and newly repainted crib and changing table.

I suppose we've decided to go with a light owl theme. 

It works for me, especially the adorable winking owl pillow my sister made. 

It still needs some more - a small bookcase and dresser and a rocking chair. 

We'll be there soon!
