Look what I made!

I got this idea from Made By Girl. Mine is a little different than hers cause I must have cut my letters a little bigger and I couldn't shove them all right next to each other like she does. I will call mine original. I put it up on my wall right above my magnet board that I made at Super Saturday last year. What do you think?

The Bar-D Chuckwagon

While we were in New Mexico, we took a trip up to Durango to go to the Bar-D Chuckwagon. It's a family tradition every year to go and we all love it.

First we walked around and visited the little shops and looked at the scenery. Then, there is dinner - a nice country style dinner with barbecue chicken or beef, baked beens, apple sauce, and a biscuit. Yummy deliciousness.

Then there is the show. Four or five guys singing folksy country songs. Even a person that doesn't like country music will tap their foot. It's a great time.

My Mother's Garden

New Mexico really is beautiful in September. Everything is still green, the peaches are ripe and falling from the trees, and the flowers are fully bloomed. My parents yard is just wonderful that time of year.

Trip to B-Town

So I realize that this trip was in September but I've been really busy so get off my back :)
For Labor day weekend, Tommy and I went to New Mexico for a visit. I can never stay away for very long, I just love my parents way too much! Plus, I always get to see at least 10 people I know every time I go to the mall.


We drove through Flagstaff like usual. I always like going through there, it's so beautiful in the mountains.

We stopped at Taco Bell because we love it and we don't care who knows it.

While in Farmington, we drove by this famous sign. Needless to say, I never see many cars outside this store :)

This is my friend Amanda. We were best friends in Junior High and since then have been constantly moving around. We find a way to keep in touch and I always try and see her when I go home.

Sweet Baby Connor

So here they are. I may have gone overboard but I just couldn't help it, my new nephew is just too adorable. I especially love the ones with Carla in them. Let me know what you think.

Connor Preview

We had a photoshoot last night with new baby Connor. I'm not finished with the pictures but I just wanted to give you a little preview to let you know what's coming. He is so perfect.

Smores

Sometimes when I'm having a rough day, Tommy and I will make smores in our kitchen. They make me feel much better.
