Say Hello!

Andy and Ashley moved in to our ward a little while ago and we became instant friends. I haven't really talked about them much but here they are and you will probably be hearing a lot about them in posts to come. They're pretty much the coolest ever.

Impetus

Today I came to a strange realization when I was in a small argument with Tommy.
It was so silly; something about him using a big word that I didn't understand so I lashed out at him.
We were on the garage roof of work trying to work it out, and I was inching more and more toward the front of the door I needed to go in so I could avoid the conversation all together and continue to be mad at him the rest of the day.
As he was talking to me sternly, I looked at how cute he was just standing there with his gelled hair that I styled this morning, and I just thought, "wow, this is my life, isn't it?"
and I'm not talking about the argument
no, the part where I am spending my life and forever with this wonderful, amazing, attractive man that I don't deserve because I get mad when he uses big words. Just then, he finished talking and I looked at him and said, "your hair looks nice."

The Phoenix Zoo

Last Saturday we went to the Zoo with our friend Rosie and our niece Raeleigh. It was sooo hot! We had a good time though and the animals were great. I especially loved the tiger. I just wanted to snuggle with him. Tommy said that wouldn't be a good idea.

Wednesday thru Sunday all in 1 post. Oh Yeah!

So last Wednesday before we left for Seattle we got to hang out with this cool girl cause she was stuck in Phoenix. We had a great time and we will really miss her :)

Then we went to the airport and got there 2 hours early cause I'm a scaredy of long lines. Anyway, we had some spare wait time.

We got into Seattle pretty late on Wednesday night and Brant had to work Thursday morning so Tommy and I explored downtown Bremerton. I met a very tall man next to a propeller. He's very nice to children.

Then we found an awesome fountain and jumped off it.

On our way back to Brant and Nadine's house, we crossed a bridge. The view was beautiful.

Later on I took some pictures of my niece Lily. She is the cutest thing ever.

Thursday afternoon we went to Bainbridge Island. We ate lunch there and did a little shopping at their over priced stores. It was a great time.

Friday we drove to Bellingham for the Graduation. We couldn't all fit in one car so Tommy and I took Brant's Honda. It was a great experience.

We took the Edmonds-Kingston Ferry on the way up there and on the way back. Brant and Nadine have the cutest family, I just love them.

Saturday was the Graduation. I took some pictures of the ceremony but they were terrible. We love Brant!!

Afterward we walked around campus a little. There was this really strange statue of a man holding a polar bear on his lap and they were both screaming... hmmm, we decided to make it more awkward.

On the way home we took the Ferry back just as the sun was setting. It was beautiful but it really only lasted like five minutes.

Overall the trip was great. The weather was wonderful and we had a really fun time. I can't wait to go back!

What a beautiful day!

Yesterday after church, Tommy and I took the scenic route home. We saw this really pretty place just down the street from where we live. Naturally we stopped and took pictures. The weather has been so nice the last couple of days. It's wonderful.

Ireland, here we come!!

We booked our flights to Ireland today. We are leaving on March, 10th of next year. I can't wait!!! We will fly into Dublin and explore some places in Northern Ireland (don't worry, things have calmed down there and it is safe for tourists). We will then go on to Scotland and England and fly back home from London. I will update later on the places that we are going to visit while we are there. Yay!!!!
